Strategy has added another 24,869 bitcoin to its treasury after raising $2.03 billion through targeted stock sales over a six-day window from May 11 to May 17, 2026.

How the capital was raised

The company tapped public markets through two channels under its at-the-market offering programs.

It sold 19.52 million shares through its STRC preferred stock program, generating $1.95 billion in net proceeds.

An additional 430,344 shares were sold through its MSTR common stock program, raising $83.7 million.

All of the capital was immediately deployed into bitcoin, with Strategy purchasing the 24,869 BTC at an average price of $80,985 per coin for a total outlay of roughly $2.01 billion.

Treasury now at 843,738 BTC

As of May 17, Strategy’s cumulative bitcoin holdings stand at 843,738 BTC, acquired for a total of $63.87 billion at an all-time average purchase price of $75,700 per coin.

The company also reported a BTC Yield of 12.6% year-to-date for 2026, a metric it uses to measure the growth of bitcoin holdings relative to diluted shares outstanding.

Plenty of firepower remaining

Strategy still has significant capacity left across its various ATM programs.

The MSTR common stock program has roughly $26.3 billion in remaining authorization, while the STRC preferred program has $17.5 billion available.

The STRD, STRK, and STRF programs carry an additional $4.0 billion, $2.1 billion, and $1.6 billion respectively, bringing total remaining authorization to approximately $51.5 billion.

The scale of Strategy’s accumulation has made it by far the largest corporate bitcoin treasury holder in the world.
