Strive, the asset management firm co-founded by Vivek Ramaswamy, purchased 1,800 bitcoin between August 24 and 28 for approximately $143 million.

The company paid an average price of roughly $79,400 per coin, including fees and expenses.

Growing treasury position

The latest acquisition brings Strive’s total bitcoin holdings to 23,160 BTC, making it one of the larger corporate holders of the asset.

Strive has been steadily accumulating bitcoin as part of its public treasury strategy, joining a growing list of companies that treat the cryptocurrency as a reserve asset alongside the likes of Strategy and Metaplanet.

Purchase details

The five-day buying window coincided with bitcoin trading in the upper $70,000 to low $80,000 range.

At the average entry price of $79,430, Strive’s total position is now worth roughly $1.84 billion at current market prices.

The company disclosed the purchase in a public filing on Monday.
