Strategy added another 1,665 BTC to its balance sheet last week, spending roughly $143 million and lifting its total holdings to 847,666 BTC as of Sept. 27.
Funded by MSTR share sales
The company sold nearly 1.5 million shares of MSTR between Sept. 21 and Sept. 27, raising more than $246 million in net proceeds.
About $143 million of that went toward bitcoin, while the remainder was used to buy back STRC shares through its digital credit securities repurchase program.
STRC buybacks and dividends
Strategy repurchased 1.5 million STRC shares for about $152 million over the same week.
Roughly $48 million of USD Cash went toward those repurchases, and another $22 million from the company’s USD Reserve covered dividends on its preferred stock.
More than 4% of all bitcoin
Strategy now holds more than 4% of the total bitcoin supply, more than any other public company.
Its 847,666 BTC were acquired for an aggregate $63.95 billion, working out to an average cost of $75,437 per coin.
The company also reported $5.02 billion in its USD Reserve and $1 billion in USD Cash.
ATM programs sat idle
Strategy did not sell any STRF, STRC, STRK or STRD shares through its at-the-market programs during the week.
Remaining capacity stands at $18.84 billion for MSTR, $17.51 billion for STRC, $4.01 billion for STRD, $2.1 billion for STRK and $1.62 billion for STRF.
