Semler Scientific, Inc. (Nasdaq: SMLR) disclosed updates to its Bitcoin activity, reporting the acquisition of 303 BTC for $29.3 million between Nov. 25 and Dec. 4, 2024.
This brings the company’s total Bitcoin holdings to 1,873 BTC, purchased at an average price of $78,553 per coin, including fees.
The acquisitions were funded by proceeds from Semler’s at-the-market (ATM) equity offering.
Under its Controlled Equity Offering agreement with Cantor Fitzgerald, Semler increased the total offering to $100 million, generating $79.8 million in gross proceeds as of Dec. 4.
Semler introduced BTC Yield as a performance indicator to assess its Bitcoin strategy. BTC Yield measures the percentage change in the ratio of Bitcoin holdings to diluted shares outstanding.
From July 1 to Dec. 4, the company achieved a 78.7% BTC Yield, described as accretive to stockholders.
