Rumble, a video-sharing platform with over 51 million monthly users, is preparing to introduce Bitcoin tipping for content creators.

The move comes through a partnership with Tether and is expected to see a full rollout by early to mid-December.

Pilot phase and rollout timeline

Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski announced the new feature onstage at the Plan ₿ Forum in Lugano, Switzerland, highlighting that the integration is currently in testing.

Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino added that the rollout will proceed once minor bugs are resolved and user experience is optimized.

Pavlovski stated:

“Right now, we’re in the testing phase [but] we’re going to start rolling that out alongside Tether here in the coming weeks.”

A demonstration video posted by Rumble on X showcased the platform’s first Bitcoin tip, sent to creator and former Canadian political candidate David Freiheit.

Expanding Bitcoin payments adoption

With its large, global audience and anti-censorship positioning, Rumble’s adoption of Bitcoin tipping is seen as a step toward wider Bitcoin payments adoption, an area where mainstream use remains limited.

Ardoino emphasized the potential benefits for creators worldwide:

“You can actually find use cases for Bitcoin and stablecoins that really are going to empower creators, and bring them the security of the fact that they will not be debanked for what they say.”

Additional Bitcoin initiatives at Rumble

Rumble is also working with MoonPay to provide users with bitcoin wallets, making tipping and payments more accessible.

In March, Rumble adopted a bitcoin treasury strategy, accumulating over 210 BTC as part of its financial reserves.
