Connect MCP clients
Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and Grok have their own step-by-step guides. For any other client that supports remote MCP servers and OAuth sign-in, use the instructions below. The labels differ from app to app but the steps are the same.
A Bitbo Pro++ account is required.
Connect Bitbo
- Open your client's settings for apps, connectors, integrations, or MCP servers.
- Add a new remote MCP server named Bitbo.
- Enter this URL in the field labeled Server URL, MCP server URL, or URL:
https://mcp.bitbo.io/mcp
- If the client asks for a transport, choose HTTP or Streamable HTTP.
- If it asks for an authentication method, choose OAuth. Leave API key and OAuth client fields empty.
- Choose Connect or Authorize.
- Sign in to Bitbo, review the read-only access request, and choose Allow Access.
- Back in your client, enable Bitbo for the conversation.
Your client handles sign-in and access automatically — there's nothing else to set up.
Try it out
With Bitbo connected, ask a real question:
Compare Bitcoin last month to the month before and summarize what changed on-chain.
Which cycle indicators are flashing a top — and which aren't?
note
Building against the MCP server yourself, or prefer to call Bitbo from code? See the REST API.
